RiseUp Patriots Conference 2.0 A Celebration of Hope, Creativity and the Nigerian Spirit

On October 25th, 2025, the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja came alive with colour, excitement and purpose. The air was filled with warmth and pride. It was more than an event. It was a movement. The Rise Up Patriots Conference 2.0 was organized by the Unveiling and Rebranding Nigerian Initiative, a gathering built around the strong theme "Projecting the Positive Image of Nigeria through the Creative Ecosystem."

The day began with the national anthem. The sound filled the hall and set the tone for what was to come. The venue was beautiful, the decorations bright, and the people full of smiles. Engr Umar B Bindir opened the event with an inspiring speech that reminded everyone how much power and potential exists in Nigeria’s creative industry.

The event was hosted by MC Frank the Disruptor. He carried everyone along with energy and laughter. The atmosphere was lively. Every moment meant something. Every face showed pride and excitement.

One of the most emotional parts of the event came when the spoken word artist, Esinet Kolade performed. Her words moved people. The hall was silent, not out of boredom but deep connection. It was a moment that reminded everyone that art has the power to touch hearts and spark change.

There were also two panel sessions filled with powerful conversations. The first had well known voices like Momodu Sadiq from Momodu Media, Dr Ejezie Emeka Rollas, Celestine Achi from Celestine AI, and Mr Seun Okinbaloye. They spoke about the creative and media space in Nigeria and how it can shape the nation’s future.

Many important guests that were present include; Brigadier General David Buba Shaljaba rtd, Chairman of the URNI Board of Trustees. Dr Akinleye Oladeji, MD/CEO of CSDC Consulting. Engr. Umar B Bindir, chairman of the Sub Committee on Tetfund National Research Fair and Exhibition, Director General of NOA, Director General of Nitda etc. There were also representatives from government and other institutions who came to show support.

Outside the hall, Wema Bank added more life to the day with a raffle draw. People gathered, laughed and cheered. It brought a lighter touch to a serious and inspiring event.

Towards the end, the Nigeria Through My Lens Photography Awards were presented. The winners were celebrated for showing the beauty of Nigeria through their cameras. The crowd cheered. It was a proud moment for everyone who believes in the Nigerian dream.

URNI closed the event with a vote of thanks from her Lead Strategist, Mrs. Obiageri Ndulue, and everyone stood to recite the national pledge.

Behind the scenes, the team felt deep appreciation. The goal was clear from the start and it was achieved. The Rise Up Patriots Conference 2.0 turned out to be a truly informative and patriotic event that left people inspired and proud to be Nigerians.

It was a reminder that through creativity, unity and purpose, Nigerians can continue to rise, not just as individuals but as patriots building a brighter future together.
