URNI Meets with the National Orientation Agency: Exploring Synergy for National Reawakening
The Unveiling and Rebranding Nigeria Initiative (URNI) was honoured to participate in a strategic engagement session with the Department of Youth Engagement and Inclusion at the National Orientation Agency (NOA) today in Abuja.
The meeting served as a significant step towards forging meaningful partnerships that will enhance civic consciousness, promote youth involvement in national development, and amplify the core values of patriotism in Nigeria.
During the discussion, URNI presented an overview of its mission to reawaken national pride among Nigerian youth and citizens through innovative campaigns, grassroots engagements, and storytelling. The team also shared highlights of its upcoming 2025 programs, including the Nigeria Through My Lens competition, the Faces of Patriotism book distribution, the URNI National Symposium, and the Independence Day Novelty Match.
In response, the NOA team expressed enthusiasm for URNI’s vision and emphasized their commitment to supporting initiatives that align with their mandate of reorienting Nigerians towards positive national values and active citizenship. Key discussion points included joint campaigns, school outreach, youth training on civic responsibility, and content co-creation for digital and grassroots platforms.
URNI took the opportunity to commend the NOA for its tireless work in preserving and promoting the values that unite Nigeria. As a government agency charged with shaping public perception and encouraging national unity, the NOA continues to play a vital role in ensuring that Nigeria’s image is strengthened both at home and abroad.
