Cross River State is located in the South-South region of Nigeria, sharing an international boundary with Cameroon to the east. Known for its lush rainforests, rolling hills, and rich biodiversity, the state is home to the famous Obudu Mountain Resort and Cross River National Park. Its capital, Calabar, is a historic port city celebrated for its hospitality, vibrant culture, and the annual Calabar Carnival which is one of Africa's biggest street parties.
